William Ford Elementary Parents, As most of you are aware, William Ford had substantial flooding in the new addition on Monday afternoon due to a faulty sprinkler valve in a classroom upstairs. Over the past twenty-four hours restoration crews have been working to remove any water, begin the drying process and assess areas and materials…

On Monday afternoon a sprinkler head in an upstairs classroom in the new addition failed causing substantial flooding to the new classrooms.  Restoration crews are on site ensuring all areas will be thoroughly dried, cleaned and rebuilt if needed.   School will be open on Tuesday, January 19th for all students except those in Ms….

No School on Monday, Jan. 18th in honor of Dr. Martin Luther King. Wednesday, Jan. 20th is a Late Start.  School begins at 9:30.

On Wednesday, January 13th, William Ford families gathered together for Family Game Night. Over 200 people came and played a variety of Fun and Educational games.  Many left with a game to take home to play as a family. Thanks for your support! Our next family night will be Bingo for Books in March!

Happy New Year and welcome back to school on Monday, January 4th!

Thanks to our wonderful PTA, teachers, and all of our parents and students who made our Holiday Night at William Ford a huge success!  Students made crafts, watched movie shorts, enjoyed a snack and visited with Santa!  It was a great evening!

The Giving Tree Just a reminder that William Ford is collecting food items that will be donated to Gleaners.  Collected food items will be distributed to those in need before the holidays!  The food items can be placed under the tree in the lobby.  Our goal is 1,350 food items!  Help us meet our goal…

 Nearly 150 William Ford students and their families spent Saturday morning at the Dearborn Centennial Library.  William Ford’s Literacy Coach, Elizabeth Garcia, organized the event in connection with the children’s department librarian.  The students were welcomed and given information on acquiring a library card, special events, what one can find in the library, and more….
