Falcons are in the house! The entire William Ford School gathered today in the cafeteria and gym for our first house meeting.  Over 700 students, teachers and staff were treated with songs, chants and more!  The energy, creativity and excitement was spectacular!   Photos from today…and more on Dr. Chochol’s blog:  Click Here!      

Students in Ms. Ferrante’s fifth grade classroom and Ms. Berry’s 2nd/3rd grade classroom come together to share examples of proactive actions and growth mindset statements.  Ms. Honer and Ms. Syring also joined in and followed up the circle by reading Owl Moon and a delicious hands-on activity…Owl S’mores!

This survey consists of two questions to collect parent feedback on the possibility to pilot year-round school concept in one or two elementary schools. Ms. Burt, Ms. Fernandez and Ms. Berry’s classes participated in 10 different Force activities (balloon rockets, marshmallow launchers, and much more).  Students rotated through the stations.  

Fourth Graders in Ms. Currie’s class were challenged to design and build a ping-pong ball launcher.  They tested their completed designs launching the ping-pong ball and measuring the distance.  The winning design launched a ball over 1,000 centimeters!
