Thank You Officer Saleh and the Dearborn Police Department

Thank you to the Dearborn Police Department for their continued efforts to help us maintain a safe and friendly environment for the entire William Ford community.  As I am sure you children have shared, Officer Saleh can be found daily in and around William Ford, visiting classrooms, the lunchroom, at recess, in the office or at arrival and dismissal helping with the traffic flow, as he did today, Tuesday, May 31st.  The students love Officer Saleh, and we sincerely appreciate all he does for William Ford!

City Beautiful Parade at William Ford!

Although the weather was not completely cooperative, what a wonderful Clean-up Parade at William Ford today! Thanks to the staff at William Ford, the City of Dearborn and the many representatives on hand, Dearborn Public Schools and representatives, all of our special guests, our Grand Marshall Nada Fouani, parents and especially our students (all 662 of them!) for sending a “Green” message to our community! You all were amazing and I could not be any prouder! Photo below of our whole school coming together inside following the parade.

Second Grade Market Day!

On Monday, April 11th, Second Graders put their knowledge to work with Market Day.  Selling their goods and services to their classmates.
Students earned play money, by being responsible in their job of being a student – arriving on time for school, turning in daily homework, having gym shoes on gym day and returning books on time to the Media Center. Below are some pictures from the event!
