Over 100 students and parents attended William Ford Day at Centennial Library on Saturday! It was a great opportunity for families to explore the library, check-out books, and/or apply for library cards. We also took the opportunity to celebrate our young authors who participated and achieved great success with the UM Young Authors Competition and the Annual PTA Reflections, “Heroes Around Me.’ Special thanks to Mrs. Garcia for organizing this annual event, to the PTA Board for their support and attendance, to the Centennial Library staff (especially Michelle) for welcoming us and allowing us the use of the auditorium, and to many staff in attendance to celebrate our young authors; Mrs. Saidi, Mrs. Rodriguez, Ms. Bazzy, Mrs. Bowen, Mrs. Akroush and Ms. Albachachy and tutors from ACCESS. What a great morning at the library!
