Welcome to the 2025 Summer Discovery Program at William Ford Elementary! We are so excited to have your child join us from Monday, June 23, 2025, through Friday, July 25, 2025 for five fun-filled weeks of learning, exploration, and creativity. Over 280 students will be attending, and nearly all teachers are from Wiliam Ford!
Our program is designed to keep students engaged through hands-on activities in reading, math, science, art, sports and more. Each week will feature exciting themes, interactive lessons, and special experiences to spark curiosity and make learning fun. Field trips, assemblies, parent open house at school, parent workshops and more will be part of our Summer Program.
Our dedicated teachers and staff are committed to creating a safe, nurturing, and supportive environment where every child can grow, explore, and thrive. Communication with families is a top priority, so please feel free to reach out anytime with questions, concerns, or feedback.
Important Details:
- Program Dates:
- June 23 – July 25, 2025 (Monday through Friday)
- No school on Friday, July 4, 2025 in celebration of Independence Day
- Program Hours: 9:00am-3:30pm
- Optional Enrichment: 8:00am-8:30am & 3:30pm-4:00pm
- Breakfast available 8:30am-9:00am in the cafeteria
- Full Hot Lunch Provided every day.
- Drop-off/Pick-up Location: Front Door #1, or cafeteria doors if coming to breakfast.
- What to Bring: A reusable water bottle, healthy snack/lunch, a great attitude and ready to have fun!
- Dress Code: Comfortable clothing and closed-toe shoes for both indoor and outdoor activities
