Dear Parents,
Happy New Year, 2022! I hope your holiday break was safely spent celebrating with family and friends. I want to welcome you all back to school on Monday, January 3, 2022. As a reminder school begins at 8:55 and dismisses at 3:55. Breakfast is available beginning at 8:30.
I know most of you have seen the letter from Dr. Maleyko welcoming everyone back to school on Monday. That letter was posted on social media and on the district website. Link to Dr. Maleyko’s letter: https://docs.google.com/document/d/1Ep3q6kDmM7z1yhSdV8Wtc0RvXh_oOE-eKXrLCyAGx_Q/edit
As we all know the nation, our state and our community are once again dealing with a spike with Covid infections. We can all help keep our schools open and students in the classroom by following the necessary precautions and safety measures.
- If your child is sick, or showing any symptoms of Covid, please keep them home to monitor the symptoms. If symptoms persist, perhaps having your child tested may be needed.
- Please contact the office (827-6400) if your child or anyone in your household tests positive for Covid. Keep your child at home until guidance is given by phone.
- If your child, or anyone in your household has a pending Covid test, please keep them at home until the results are known. If a positive test is given, contact the office as soon as possible.
- Remember, do not send your child to school until they have been Fever Free for over 24 hours, and without any pain/fever medication.
- Masks MUST be worn in our schools at all times! Please have an extra mask in your child’s backpack
Again, we are excited to continue with in-person instruction on Monday. We look forward to seeing you all.
Kind regards and stay safe!
