Camp William Ford Begins Wednesday!

   Welcome to Camp William Ford!  

   Our Summer Camp at William Ford begins this Wednesday, June 23rd!  We are so excited to begin!  Most of our teachers have returned to teach this summer, and we are excited to welcome a few new teachers who have been working with our teachers to prepare for this summer.  

   Our daily schedule will be full of fun and learning!  See below;

• 8:30-8:55 Breakfast in the Cafeteria  (optional, or students can eat at home)
• 9:00  The Summer Camp day begins! Morning lessons in ELA and Math.
• Lunch will be served between 10:45 and 12:45
• Afternoon enrichment and application activities with special area teachers, special guests, assemblies and more!
• 2:00 Dismissal for most students – Arrival and Dismissal will be at the same door as the regular school year.
  • Some students registered to stay until 5:00. 
    • Students staying until 5:00 will have special afternoon enrichment ion art, music, science  and PE and a light snack.
    • Students leaving at 5:00 will exit from the front door.

   Students should dress in comfortable clothing as most afternoons will include outdoor activities.  Also, this Wednesday and Thursday students and teachers will be making Tie-Dye shirts that they will keep and wear to school next Thursday for a special assembly. 

   On Tuesday I will send the classroom teacher that your child will be with this summer.  This will likely be the teacher they had this past year, with just a few exceptions.  Your child’s teacher from this year has probably already shared this information with you.

   We look forward to seeing your child on Wednesday at 9:00, OR between 8:30-8:50 if they are interested in breakfast.  Dismissal is at 2:00.
